I really enjoyed reading this book. I found myself relating very much well in one chapter as it was my story. All in all, I'd like to learn more about how to ask the right questions in a relationship or getting to know you phase as the author briefly brushes in. Reading this book will open your eyes, thus giving you a sense of renewed hope that you can eventually meet someone that can accept you, your past, and your desired future as you learn to accept that.Product details

Aprille Franks-Hunt opens her kimono and shares with us the raw, uncut, uncensored details of the many challenges she has faced. While the average woman may relate to some (possibly even many) chapters in the book, it is very rare that one is willing to risk being judged by society based on decisions they have made. Even though the people judging, may have made some of the very same mistakes. I truly appreciated the book because it does not glamorize the consequences of her actions, but it provides many "life lessons" for people both men and women, young and old. A great selection for book club discussions. Thank you Mrs. Franks-Hunt for allowing the world to share your journey.
Wow SUCH a eye opener and reality check.. I have known what I was feeling but couldn't always find the words to express how I felt that would bring along healing and growth. I thank God that you did Mrs. Frank's-Hunt( and made it so simple to read I might add). I have read a few books in my day but I must say that this is one of my top fav....I am looking forward to me becoming the best me and know that God has great thing in stored for me during the process….....Thanx
Aprille shared so much of her self in this book. I appreciate her transparency! Her story is a real story of life lessons that many women can relate to. This was a very good read with a lot of teachable moments.
I love the way this story is told in a real and down to earth way. Aprille's story shows that you can own all of your choices and come out resilient . She is living proof that you can take your test and turn it into a testimony !!! She is a definitely an Inspiration !
It was so relevant and so refreshing. A real genuine look at all of our times of testing! From the time I picked it up my intent was to read a few chapters and put it aside but I was so drawn to keep reading so much emotion, truth, and revelation I could no longer hide! It was confirmation of so many things in so many different ways . I'm on my way to wholeness and I give God ALL the praise ! Aprille thank you for your obedience to the still small voice within ! When one reads and applies these truths real healing can truly begin ! Thanks for bringing real issues to the forefront and for writing them all out. Touching and transforming lives is what it's all about !
I have been meaning to get this book for a while. Finally one day picked it up. Aprille did a wonderful job telling her story. A major lesson that I walked away from after reading this book is that God has a plan for us and no matter where our paths take it, good bad or indifferent, we are able to still pick ourselves us and become the best version of ourselves that we can be. This book came at the right time for me. Going through changes and trying to find my way. At moments feeling over whelmed and not sure which way to go. In her book Aprille showed how she was able to pick herself up whether by herself and/or with her family and friends help. No matter what she shows that you can rise. Thanks for the book Aprille and keep shining like the star that you are. )
Tons of nuggets of wisdom in this ebook. The authors openness to share the dark parts of her life will allow you to look at yours. The questions and assessment that she reflects upon will help you rethink your life and where you are headed. Sometimes we have to learn about someone else to realize who we really are. I applaud Franks-Hunt for sharing the intimate details of her life as most of us don't. Read and learn...
